The Orana BEC based in Dubbo is widely recognised as being the most cost effective, relevant and unbiased conduit for offering practical and appropriate assistance to the micro and small business sectors.
Each BEC has access to the talents and resources of all BECs plus federal, state, and local governments providing quality business assistance, often for free (there are some nominal charges for workbooks, software and services).
The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is a small business program funded by the Department of Education and Workplace Relations that enables unemployed people to put their business ideas into practice.
Eligible participants receive:
Training in business skills and business plan development (We also offer Flexible Pathways to approved applicants)
Income maintenance (NEIS Allowance) for up to 52 weeks
Business advice and mentor support for the first year
